Nuclear & Plasma Sciences Society

NPSS Membership

Welcome new NPSS Members!

This website has been created for You! It briefly introduces our Membership Development (MD) committee, and Team of International Recruiters which you may know from one of the NPSS conferences – where you have joined our Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society (NPSS).

Christoph Ilgner, Immediate past MD Chair/Recruiter

Vernon Price, MD Contact to IEEE HQ/Recruiter

We have listed ourselves here, along with our email addresses, so that you can contact whomever you prefer for any question, suggestion or feedback you might have. You may also contact us if you want to get involved with some of our (really exciting!) activities for our Society. For example, we may help you with getting involved in conference organization, conference promotion, in case you may want to become a reviewer of papers for our publications (e.g. TNS, TPS, TMI), or with one of many other interesting tasks for our Society and worldwide community in your field of expertise (or interest) — just let us know, and you may be ‘on board’ shortly getting to know and being active together with great colleagues and people from all over the world!

International Team of Recruiters

Christoph Ilgner, Germany
Albe Larsen, USA
Patric Le Du, France
Jean-Luc Leray, France
Vernon Price, USA

As you see, this webpage not only provides membership information and links to other Society information but is also a platform and ‘meeting point’ for communication with us and will be updated frequently – so, come back frequently! And: send us your feedback and get involved. Note: perhaps especially for the ‘new and young’ people, and perhaps for people from countries or environments where this is not always so: we all address each other using just first names, from the beginning – regardless of function, age, title or ‘rank’ in our Society, institutes or worldwide community.
